        Err, /you/ were the one that pointed out jCIFS would knock off other clients b/c it originally used VC=0. When we changed it to 1 all was well. Any number of clients could connect. Indeed the jCIFS NTLM HTTP filter will open many sessions over the same transport. IIRC we found that a domain controller could support more than 250 sessions on the same TCP connection before getting the "Too many UIDs" error.
