Hello All
I am getting "Access Denied" exception when i try to call a Interface Method
containing a UDT as one of the parameters.I have a ATL EXE server which
exposes some interfaces. All the Interfaces (in the ATL Exe Server) use the
below given interface as a Custom Connection Pointer Interface to send
Messages to the Client
interface IOrderEvents : IDispatch
{
.
.
[id(2), helpstring("method JobTest")] HRESULT
JobTest([in]struct JOB_RESULT_T *JobData);
.
.
};
And the Client is implemented as a Activex Exe which implements the above
Interface.
In most cases the function works,but in some PC's ,I get the "Access Denied"
exception in the OleAut32.dll . Then i found out that if the version is
2.40.4514 and above ,it was working fine and for others namely 2.40.4277 it
was giving that exception . Is this a coincidence or am i doing something
wrong. Please help me out !!!!!!!!!!
Have a nice weekend
Regards
Thiyagu
