How can a client app use a remote COM+ server since the client app
disregards remoteness?
I was given a client app, a COM+ DLL and a proxy/stub DLL. I want to make
the client app use the COM+ object remotely but the client instantiates the
server locally. I try to install a proxy package on the client side that is
derived from the server package. However, it either installs the server DLL
as proxy (not the proxy/stub DLL) or it fails to install the proxy/stub DLL
on the server so I could export it as a proxy package.
How do we install COM+ proxies at all?
Thanks,
Zlatko
