Hi,
I'm having trouble installing a COM+ application proxy on Windows NT 4.0
clients. I have created an .MSI and .CAB file for the application proxy from
the COM+ Service Manager. If I install the MSI file on a Windows 2000 client
it works fine, but if I install the same MSI file on an NT 4.0 client the
call to CoCreateInstance() fails.
The COM+ application was created using the Install option, not Import. The
export files were created using the Applictiation Proxy option, not Server
Application. The COM+ server has the option "Export Application proxy RSN"
set to the server's netbios name.
Can anyone tell me what else I need to do?
Richard
