    Do you call IGlobalInterfaceTable::RevokeInterfaceFromGlobal()?

    I am releasing the interface I get from the GIT as well as the interface to
    the GIT itself, that I get each time with a call to CoCreateInstance (as the
    GIT is a singleton, I always get an interface to the same component).

    I am not doing anything with the interface I get from the GIT because I've
    created a test project just to try to isolate the problem.

    Are you forgetting to release the interface?
    Are you passing the reference to another method or component that is not
    releasing the interface?
