    Hi Jeff,

            Thanks for replying. Both the client and server have Windows NT
    installed on it.........I didn't check out the list of
    protocols...........what about the other message General Access
    Denied..........can u suggest some reasons for this error.

            What operating system is used on the client and server? DCOM is
    trying to
            find a network protocol that can be used on both the client and the
    server
            to use as the DCOM traffic protocol, and can't find agreement

            machines. What is the list of protocols supported on the machines?
