    This is expected behavior. The security infrastructure kicks in as soon
    as you cross an apartment boundary, as I recall. My suggestion would be
    to call CoInitializeSecurity to fix this, or try to remove that
    apartment boundary if you can (the latter suggestion may require
    redesign or may not even be possible).
