    DB = Database

    well Compaq released a "dummies" book (too general, no
    real spesfics on how it is to be don) on how to ingragrate
    NT 4 and VMS

    this is how it's supposed to work

    *VMS has some form of "NT Services" running on the box
    *in the NT enviroment, we write the COM object to access
    the NT services on the VMS box.
    (that's all I got from the 150Page or so book)

    I currently know the french Automaker Renault is
    "webafying" their systems with an NT front end and a VMS
    backend (where the DB and so forth is being stored) and COM
     is an intragal part of the communication processes between
    the VMS box and also the NT box

    =====
    In difficult moments, behave like a duck. Keep calm and unruffled on the surface, but keep paddling away like crazy underneath.

    None of the ideas expressed above are actually mine.
    They are told to me by Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch
    tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for
    these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust
    bunnies they may find under there.
