You impersonate the client using CoImpersonateClient(), and then you use
the standard Windows APIs to fetch the current SID from the environment.

Subject: Discovering the Identity in COM+
Hi,
Is there a way in VB to discover the Windows Account under which a COM+
object is running? I've looked at "Callers" from the
SecurityCallContext
i/f but this seems to cover all those upstream of the component in which
this object is.
I had thought about using the COM+ Catalog, but am told it's a little
slow.
I'm running 2000 and XP.
Thanks for any help.
