I can see that I am crossing an apt boundary when I
call the Render method in my object. THe call is
formthe STA UI thread.
When I call Render, I am passing an interface pointer
to an object that has MFC dependency. This object
seems to be causing the grief. I have a different
implementation that has no MFC depenency, and it works
properly. However, I need both objects depending on
the user scenario.
I have marked it as an incorrect behavior in the Win
9x/Me COM layer, and I have found a reasonable
work-around.
THx,
David

Does a trace of the thread ids at strategic points
uncover anything unexpected?
