Why are you using connection points across machines? They're not designed for that.

One of the ways of using DispEventAdvise is to use a Sink Map in the client
component. This map will contain the necessary information to sink the
events generated from the outgoing interface (dispinterface) on the server
component. For a detailed treatment of this topic you could refer to
Beginning ATL COM by Richard Grimes.

    Subject: DispEventAdvise across machines

I have written a COM Service that is running on one machine that has
connection points. I am try to DispEventAdvise with those connection
points from another machine and am getting access denided.

This is the first time I have ever really tried to access a COM object
from another machine. I have not implemented any COM+ interfaces nor
done anything special with the COM Service to make it COM+. What do I
need to do to get DispEventAdvise to work?

    Sam

P.S. I am an admin on both machines
