SAPI initialization sequence

Hi All:
does anyone here have any SAPI experience, I need to know the function
firing sequence that occurs between SAPI initialization and the point where
the text is spoken by the machine. At this point my code successfully starts
the COM runtime, creates an instance of the component interface, calls the
component interface method, everything works up to this point. now I need to
write the code that actually accesses the interface and utilizes the
ISpVoice interface. any ideas? TIA for any help
