ODBC connection pooling and COM+

Hi all,
I'm a bit confused about ODBC connection pooling and COM+.
I am using an ATL C++ component.
1. I assume you do not need to use COM+ to use ODBC connection pooling, it
is also implemented in the driver manager isn't it?
2. Do you need to use SQL_ATTR_CONNECTION_POOLING when connecting in a C+
app in COM+? Or does COM+ just take care of it for you?
3. Is there a difference between ODBC connection pooling inside and outside
COM+?
