> we say that in OSPF a router has to stuff all its link database in ** one **
LSA. We have the mechanism of I-bit and the M-bit wherein we control the
division of a large topological database description into multiple messages.
That is correct all the Router's local interfaces must be advertised in one
single Router LSA. This LSA will have an LS ID equal to the Router ID of the
router in question and will be shared with all other router's in it's area.
The use of the I-bit and the M-bit is during the database exchange process.
They are used to indicate that it is the initial Database Description Packet
and that there are more packets to be sent respectively. However, this is not
because the router will have more than one Router LSA for itself, it is
because the router will have a number of LSAs in it's database (Router LSAs
from other routers, Network LSAs, etc).
