    Hi,
    I was going through the RFC 2370 which explains the opaque lsa option but it
    never tells the exact use of these. As far as my limited knowledge goes the
    information field may be directly used by OSPF or by some other applications
    which need to flood the information. This way they'll be using OSPF as a
    mule to carry the data around. But still can anybody throw some light on how
    and as to where can these opaque lsa's be used ?

    To understand the utility of Opaque lsa's i went through the "ospf address
    resolution advertisement draft" by Rob coltun. What is the status of this
    draft ? Is any vendor implementing this ?
