Can Virtual Links in a OSPF AS be configured with MD5 authentication
parameters, which is seperate from that configured for the backbone
area?(Just for 2 ends of the virtual link).
Or should Virtual links use the same authentication that the routers in the
backbone area use?
Has anyone been able to configure in a router, MD5 authentication for
Virtual links, seperate from that of the authentication of the backbone
area? Does it work?
If the answer is,"a seperate authentication can be assigned for the 2
endpoints of a virtual link", is this appicable for any two routers in an
area?(Can any two routers be configured with seperate MD5 auth?
Thanks and Regards
