It can't be solved in generic way.
But, if you look in the
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Defaults\Provider
you should be able to simply identify the CSP name.

    Hope this helps

Subject: Cryptographic Service Provider from ActivCard Gold

    Hi.
I'm absolutely new to the smart card programming. I have an ActivCard
    Gold
reader and a card plus the software which came with it. At the
    installation
I selected to install the Microsoft CAPI support too.
Now. How do I reach the Cryptographic Service Provider, which was
installed ? How do I know, what's it's name ? What CSP should be given
    to
    the CryptAcquireContext function ?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
