Hello,
We have developed a USB smart card reader and, even got the WHQL logo for
all systems, 98/Me/2000 and XP.
However, we have found a bug, which happens in Win 98 First Edition only.
Once in a while, and it is hard to catch, when shutting down the system we
got a blue screen.
It appears in the HandlePowerEvent() function, generated by the WDSWiz.awx,
in the case of DestroyContext.
When we call ExFreePool(ctx), sometimes the system crashes.
Does anyone has a clue? Is there a difference in Win98 First Edition in
power management that can explain this?
Thanks,
Gil.
