Just curious, what do you use SCardControl for?

I don't believe I can answer your second question.
I don't know which build environment you use.
There has to be a file (makefile or ?) that indicates which libraries
should be used at link time.
This file likely already has entries for other libraries like
advapi32.lib.

Thanks a lot Eric for all the help u have given..!
I finally managed to solve this thing.....i changed the reader to Reflex
Lite. It turned out that all the coding that i had done was actually
correct....it's just that there was some problem with the card
reset...and
this was creating a problem with the card control and transmit
functions.

But do u have any idea if i have to use all these functions in a
Replacement Gina dll of NMAKE build...how do i include Winscard.lib in
that....because NMAKE does not facilitate the inclusion of any library
externally..?? Right now i am stuck here because the dll is not
recognising
any functions.
