The Smart Card is not responding to a Reset

I'm trying to write a Smart Card program, my program identifies the reader
and that a card is in the slot but it keeps displaying the error;
The Smart Card is not responding to a Reset
I know the card works & that it's sending its' Reset because I've logged
it, but it still produces this error.
The routines called are;
SCardEstablishContext
SCardListReaders // Gives me the Reader
SCardListCards // Shows me that the card has already been introduced
SCardConnect // Error:The Smart Card is not responding to a Reset
Hope someone can help me out here.
