Hi,

Alpha version 5.06 of the BLOB streaming engine for MySQL has been released.

The BLOB Streaming Engine is a MySQL storage engine which enables the
storage and streaming of BLOB data directly in and out of a MySQL database.

You can download the source code from http://www.blobstreaming.org/download.
Documentation has also been updated .

What's new in 5.06:

* The big news is that as of this release the BLOB streaming engine can be
used with tables from any MySQL storage engine.

* A name change has taken place: the PrimeBase BLOB streaming engine's name
has been changed from "MyBS" to "PBMS" which stands for "PrimeBase Media
Streaming".
