We are pleased and excited to announce that MySQL Enterprise Monitor
2.2 is now available on the Enterprise web site as our latest GA
release.
The flagship features of this release are:
o Plugins for MySQL Connectors now feed Query Analyzer data directly
to the Dashboard (MySQL Proxy is no longer required, but remains
an option)
o Support for LDAP authentication
o Easy upload of MySQL diagnostic info to Support
o New read-only user role that can view information but not make any
changes
o Better UI session support - open multiple browser windows onto any
Dashboard page without session context conflicts between pages
o Installer option to host the Monitor's data repository on a
different machine than the web application (or use an existing
MySQL instance)
