Paul, you really need to talk about:
        - what is your OS release you are using

        i guessed things too much. let us start everything over.

        if you want BIND 8.2.3 from pkgsrc, you can pull the latest
        pkgsrc/net/bind8 and build on your own.

        if you want in-tree BIND 8.2.3, you can update your source code
        tree from the appropriate branch (either main trunc or netbsd-1-5)
        and then build usr.sbin/bind.
        if the build chokes, that means that your build system is not up-to-
        date. either you need to upgrade /usr/bin/make, or /usr/share/mk.
