A variation of Option1 would be my choice....
There are a number of IPSEC products coming onto the market...
Since you already have a FW1 and Sun's, check out URL:
http://www.sun.com/security/skip/
Skip will encrypt IP packets between hosts...
I know it's been ported to Solaris, Win95, NT...
I think it's also available for FW-1 (not positive)....
Fairly low cost...
There is a free download, so you can try it out....
Regarding option 3: I believe PPTP is only for dial-up
connections... Doesn't sound like that's what you want...
