The Usenix paper covers Classical IP over ATM (RFC 1577) security issues and
it's at:

There's also a paper that covers both Classical IP and LANE 1.0 security issues
from another German research institute, but it's not translated into English and
it doesn't appear to be on-line. The paper is "Angriffspunkt - Sicherheit in
IP-über-ATM-Netzen" and there are some details at:
Christoph Schuba, Gene Spafford, and Berry Kercheval wrote a good paper on
implementation issues at:
