There certainly is one. DG has a line of computers called AViiON, which
are Intel based. They have multiprocessor models, and their newest
architecture is called NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Architecture). I think
even the pre-NUMA ones had a proprietary architecture, though.

I don't know if you can just drop DG/UX on a regular Dell or Gateway and
have it work. In any event, it's SysV-ish. But there are a number of free
and cheap Unices for the PC, including some that are SysV-ish, if that's
what you prefer.
