ICMP is a protocol not a service. It is on par with TCP or UDP. TCP and USP are
prtocols that have services identified by ports, not ICMP.
That said, ther are ICMP packet type codes which distinguish different ICMP
message formats.

well-known port for ICMP. Is there no such thing?
