    Hi,

I have just uploaded my first version of Nmap::Scanner to CPAN ... it
is not publicly available yet and things seem to move slowly there so
I figured I would announce it here.

The tarred, gzipped distribution is available at

    http://www.webwizarddesign.com/coding/free/nmap/Nmap-Scanner-0.01.tar.gz

This version does not implement every nmap option but it hit s a large
number of them :). I have included a directory with examples and perldoc
for the whole thing to help people get started on it quickly!

This version also parses -oN and not the XML output .. a release in the
near future will support the XML output .. for this version I found the
-oN output easier to deal with and it seems to me that the XML output
doesn't give as much immediate feedback as -oN when used with -v -v -v
.... and one model i support is event-driven scans so that feedback is
important. I will ask on the dev list about that.

I welcome feedback from anyone who decides to check it out .. it is alpha
so I expect there are lots of buggies waiting hungrily to bite ;).

    Max
