The thread entitled Yet another "get yourself admin rights exploit" is incredibly valuable to all concerned with NT Security. However, it should be held on NTSecuritylistserv.ntbugtraq.com and not NTBugtraq. Further, the subject line needs to change to reflect the topic. I recommend "NT Registry Permissions". If you've sent a message to NTBugtraq which you haven't seen posted yet, you will shortly receive a message indicating that it should be re-sent to NTSecurity
listserv.ntbugtraq.com with the subject line changed. If you've sent a message to NTSecurity on this topic, you don't need to re-send it. To continue following this thread you have a couple of options; 1. If you are not subscribed to NTSecurity
listserv.ntbugtraq.com yet you can subscribe to it by sending a message to Listserv
listserv.ntbugtraq.com with; subscribe ntsecurity in the message body, you don't need a subject line. NTSecurity
listserv.ntbugtraq.com is, however, a high volume lightly moderated list. I appreciate that some of you may not want to subscribe to such a list. For those of you, read option #2. 2. You can follow the thread off-line by viewing the NTSecurity
listserv.ntbugtraq.com archives. Currently they are available via http://www.ntbugtraq.com/archives, but this link will soon change (I will send a notice to all NTBugtraq/NTSecurity
listserv.ntbugtraq.com subscribers when the change is complete). Cheers, Russ - NTBugtraq/NTSecurity
