To All
There may be a simple answer to this question, but I have been playing around
with this for days and have yet to find it.
Am creating home directories on an NT 4 server. I would like to make the actual
folder for the user RXW, so that the user can add, read, execute and delete
files and directories within the folder, but without deleting the actual user
folder.
Unfortunately, when I apply permissions RXW on the directory and Full Control on
files in the folder, the user can add, delete, etc. etc., on the FILES in the
folder, but any new folders created in the user folder are not deletable by the
user. If I add the Delete permission to the user directory (RXWD), the user can
delete his own home folder, which I wish to prevent.
Once again, there may be a simple answer to this, but I have not found it. Any
ideas?
