Or there's an easier way to change it. Just click on this URL:
<x-Eudora-option:HtmlInPlainText=0> inside Eudora, and click OK to the
dialog that pops up.
Also note what Jonathan says, which is that this option is only available
in the 4.2.2 version of Windows Eudora. 4.2.2 can be downloaded as a free
upgrade to all Eudora Pro 4.x users from
<http://www.eudora.com/pro_email/updaters.html>.
