When adding or removing a user or group from an ACL in an Exchange Server
container, The resulting change will not take effect until the Exchange
Server Directory Service is restarted.
Of course, you all should be in the habit of restarting services when you
have been messing with settings, but I still consider this a bug. You don't
need to restart the server service to implement changes to filesystem acls
do you.
Systems Affected:
NT 4 (all sp's)
Exchange Server 5.5 (all sp's, although haven't checked 3 yet)
I assume Exchange 5.0 has this also problem.
