Subject: Browstat problem in Win 2K.

I just discovered a problem using browstat.exe with Windows 2000 Pro. The
following command which used to work in Windows NT does not work the same
way in Win 2K:

browstat vw netbt_e100b domain-name
browstat vw netbt_el90x1 domain-name

(depending on the Ethernet adapter name: el90x1 = 3COM 3C905B and e100b =
Intel Ethernet Pro)

This would provide a list of all the systems on a given domain that are
running NetBIOS and show what services they provide (PDC, BDC, PQ, W, S, WFW
etc...) This is very useful information.

I tried the same command under Win 2K and it didn't work.

I was able to get the command to work by first identifying the Ethernet
adapter driver name under Win 2K with the command:
net config rdr

This gave me an Ethernet adapter of:
NetBT_Tcpip_{3B30F311-1C01-5DC2-9B91-C8D8AB291CC9}

So now to get this same simple command to work I have to type:

browstat vw NetBT_Tcpip_{3B30F311-1C01-5DC2-9B91-C8D8AB291CC9} domain-name

This is very cumbersome.
