appropos to this advisory...I recently installed
    PGPFreeware
    and
    PGPfreeware 7.0.3 Hotfix 1 from
    http://download.nai.com/products/freeware/pgp/windows/version_7.03/ ...

But using the plugin for Eudora (or Outlook) seems to show a -different-
PGP version in use than if I encrypt&sign using PGP tools.

    win98SE 4.10.2222A
Fresh download of PGPFreeware 7.0.3 and hotfix, reboot after the install
    and the hotfix.
    (PGPsc.dll "Properties" indeed shows "7.0.3 Hotfix 1")
    Eudora 4.3.2

Create a file, right click on file, select PGP->Encrypt & Sign (text output)
    --or--
start PGP Tools, select file and Encrypt&Sign (text output)
and you're gives a message wrapper indicating-
    -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----
    Version: PGP 7.0.4

Create email in Eudora4.3.2 (or Outlook), select equivalent Encrypt and
Sign options and your're given a message wrapper indicating-
    -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----
    Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com>

    curious minds want to know...
Is the Eudora/Outlook plugin -fixed- by the hotfix or not?
Why does the right-click-on-file/PGPTools option above NOT indicate
    PGPfreeware?
