Well, this has taken some time to get ready, but it finally is. I have compiled a list of solutions people use to perform patch management, everything from doing them manually to using Tivoli.

I would very much appreciate it if you would take a few seconds and complete the survey. All I ask is which product/method you use, and how many systems you use that product/method on (in ranges.) I've split them into two categories, free and fee. You'll likely notice that many scripting solutions are listed as "fee-based", which is because the scripting engines aren't necessarily free. Microsoft's Software Update Services, for example, requires a server license to work.
