I do pay attention to the FAQ, and it has helped my on many an occasion
- it's always my next stop if the man pages don't have what I am
looking for. However, is it wrong to think that there is a place for
something more extensive and in-depth than the FAQ? For example, the
amd man page is a bit sparse and the FAQ doesn't cover it at all.

The FAQ is very good at what it does and was written very well, but it
isn't the ultimate holy grail.

Um hello? What's this below? I do happen to be trying to write the
stuff which I feel would be useful. If you think I need to to pay
attention, then perhaps you need to as well to see that I'm not just
talking without doing. I happen to be trying.
