    Seems the version # has been updates from cups-1.1.5-1 to cups-1.1.5-2.
    I changed the Makefile from
    DISTNAME= cups-${VERSION}-1-source
    to
    DISTNAME= cups-${VERSION}-2-source

    Also, there are links in the ftp site from
    cups-${VERSION}-source.tar.{bz2|gz} to
      cups-${VERSION}-X-source.tar.{bz2|gz}

    However, now the patches are failing...

    dorq:/usr/ports/print/cups> make
    ===> Patching for cups-1.1.5
    Ignoring previously applied (or reversed) patch.
    2 out of 2 hunks ignored--saving rejects to Makedefs.in.rej

    Stop in /usr/ports/print/cups (line 1244 of /usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk).
    dorq:/usr/ports/print/cups>

    And there seems to be version 1.1.6-1 out now (as of Jan 27th anyway,
    so the timestamp on the files says)
