    Wow.

It takes longer to type this question than it does to type ``man perl''
or ``perl -v'' to discover this on your own. It probably takes about as
long as checking the list of features on the webpage -- I am fairly
certain one of the selling points of 2.7 way back when it was released
is that perl x.y.z was already installed, before any Linux distribution
    had perl x.y.z installed.

Note, how I leave x.y.z in place of the real version number --- I don't
want you to make asking the email list in place of ten second's research
    a habit.

Furthermore, your inclusion of ``i am running apache'' reminds me a lot
of story problems on standardized tests --- completely unrelated
information, perhaps designed to throw people off course? But why?

[Allow me to apologize in advance for this email. It *is* in poor taste,
but Charles D. Burgess didn't appear to do any research before sending
off this email. The arrogance is astounding. There I go again. I had
best stop before one of you finds out where I live and ties me to a tree
    or something like that.]
