As of the current snapshot, any ps/2, usb, or bus mouse should work in X
with the following configuration:
Protocol "wsmouse"
Device "/dev/wsmouse"
This works for multiple mice, too. I have exactly that in my XF86Config
and I can use the ps/2 + usb mouse at the same time on my laptop. I can
plug and unplug the usb mouse whenever I want and things still work.
