    B node is a different thing, but if you have WINS you do not want B you
    want H node clients. Browser elections are per network, each network
    will have its own browser. The "best" server in a workgroup/domain
    will be the master brower. The VPN routes between the networks and
    should not be passing broadcast.

    You can set up a WINS server on each side of a WAN link if the link is less
    than reliable. WINS does not create a great deal of traffic but it is
    a problem if the link is down. I think SAMBA supports some of the WINS
    functions but I am not sure if it handles WINS replication.
