Yes, this has to be fixed. Of course, it is just fallout from wscons. We
are trying to make the transition (from pcvt) as painless as possible. So
far, I think we've done an OK job of that. Here is a short list of TODO
off the top of my head:
- Add CTRL-ALT-DEL support (should be trivial).
- Screen blanker (probably done in the vga driver).
- Console mouse support (we are talking about this now, not far off...).
- Some minor bug fixes.

The February 7 X snapshot was b0rked, you might have better luck with the
new one from yesterday (Feb 12).
