    Hey:

    Just wanted to let you know that I finally got all the pieces in place.
    the DOS program can write its little heart out to the samba share file
    which
    I've $mknod thefile p
    I have a daemon program that watches the file
    and it works nearly 100%.
    Occasionally it misses the end of file, but that doesn't actually cause
    much
    of a problem.
