Apologies if there are questions here that have been answered
already, but I have done my research in the upgrade minifaq & the
archive & I'm still left with some questions about the upgrade
process:
How do I upgrade /var & /dev/MAKEDEV? It appears to be necessary, but
I don't see any tips on how to do it.
Is there a way, other than doing "cvs diff -u -rOPENBSD_2_7
-rOPENBSD_2_8", to find out what changes I need to make in /etc?
Doing the cvs diff overflows my 1024-line scrollback buffer & doesn't
leave any obviously useful info on the screen. I have added "daemon"
& "staff" in the appropriate place via vipw.
Thanks,
-Kit
