Hello,

I hope that someone can help me resolve this hardware issue as I
at a total lost when it comes to hardware.

The 3Com (3C562D) works in the Toshiba without any problems but
in the Dell I get a "can't allocate i/o space" message.

Windows 98 on the Dell reports the card as using "Input/Output
Range: 1000-100F" and "Interrupt Request: 3" and it works.

I have tried boot -c and then "diable cardbus" and "disable
pcibios" but no change I also updated the BIOS in the Dell. And
have been thinking of flashing the card, though I doupt it would
help.

Dell is a Latitude CP M233ST
Toshiba is a Satellite Pro 440CDX
