Yes it is a known problem with this particular motherboard. The only
solution I know of is to plug the keyboard in AFTER booting.
I'm really sorry this problem exists but the only other person I know with
this motherboard is not a kernel hacker, and I don't have the hardware
myself. I have tried suggesting some things which apparently failed to fix
the problem.
