    howdy.

            I've just hooked up an old IPX running 2.7 generic to a new
    monitor (Dell P1110). I know that the monitor works fine after testing it
    with another machine, but when hooked up to the IPX, I get horizontal sync
    problems. I know that the IPX can work properly, since I just
    disconnected it from another monitor, but I'd rather not have two monitors
    on my desk. According to the man pages for Xsun, the X servers on sparc
    are self configuring. Is there a way to force the horizontal sync rates
    that Xsun is using?
