    My brand new iBook, bought in December 2001, does not pass the
    installation process. I'm trying the official CDROM, version 3.0 (the
    latest and greatest).

    After the

    boot cd:,OFWBOOT /3.0/macppc/bsd.rd

    the boot process seems fine until

    (I)nstall, (U)pgrade or (S)hell?

    when everything freezes. It doesn't seem to read my keyboard.

    Anything I can do at this point?

    (If it means anything, NetBSD 1.5.2 has exactly the same behavior.)
