Hi
This is quite possible and quite easy to do, all that needs to be done is
to edit the ramdisk
boot image kernel and it associated files and remove all the unneeded stuff
then add the pf
utils, such as pfctl, as well as the ipsec apps.
I currently have a similar thing running fairly well, and I am in the
process of developing
a web based interface (not very secure, but will get to that).
I could provided more details on creating the images if you wish (ie. when
time is available),
but for know I advise looking at the makefiles for the floppy ramdisk
images in the source
tree usually (usr/src/distrib/i386/floppies). As well as the Kernel files
for the images.
