Ok, so the ps-trouble was my fault and I did everything that was
listed in the upgrade-minifaq. But one of my boxes still has trouble
with it's NIC. I put the dmesg in the files 3.1 and 3.0, respectively
(3.1 is meant -current, 3.0 is the CDROM-release).
Doing a "diff 3.1 3.0" returns this:
< dc0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0 "DEC 21142/3" rev 0x41: irq 5 address
00:80:48:cd:8a:5e
< dcphy0 at dc0 phy 31: internal PHY
> de0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0 "DEC 21142/3" rev 0x41: irq 5
> de0: 21143 [10-100Mb/s] pass 4.1 address 00:80:48:cd:8a:5e
> de0: enabling 10baseT port
It looks like 3.0 used de0 to identify the card and -current uses
dc0. But why doesn't it work?
