Oops, ignore my earlier post, I misread your comment to say that everything
was broken, not just outbound www. Is it possible that your ISP is now
mandating the use of some proxy server they control for web access?

Subject: HTTP stopped working on my PF box
Greets all. I'm running 3.0 release on a i386 box. It is running pf and nat
and talks over my cable modem. This setup has worked fine for about 3
months, and still does (for the most part). As of this morning, I can't
connect to any websites (From the firewall or the LAN). SSH, FTP, POP, and
SMTP are still working. Nslookup works and I can ping google.com, yahoo.com,
etc...
When I try to lynx to ANY site it just sits there and times out. I haven't
changed any pf or nat rules. Has anyone come across this before? I'm
stumped. I've tried disabling pf, taking the interfaces up and down,
rebooting, etc...
Since I haven't changed any settings, I'm thoroughly confused.
